Processing Time:

Each item is lovingly handcrafted just for you! Please allow 3-5 business days for us to create and prepare your order before shipping. Custom orders may take longer; we'll confirm the timeline in your order confirmation. 

Shipping Methods & Costs (Domestic - US):

  • Free Local Pick-up & Delivery within 10 miles of 92378 zip code in CA, USA

  • Standard Shipping: USPS First-Class (Non-Flat Rate): Cheapest for lightweight items (under 1 oz) using stamps (around $0.66+), but costs increase with weight and distance; requires weighing. 

  • USPS Padded Envelope Rate Options

    • Here are the typical ways to price an 8 1/2" x 11" padded envelope:

    • First-Class Mail (Large Envelope/Flat): If the envelope is flexible, weighs 1 ounce or less, and is 3/4" thick or less, prices start at around $1.27 for an oversized item at the Post Office. The price increases by a set amount for each additional ounce up to 13 oz.

    • Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded Envelope: The USPS offers a standard, free Priority Mail Flat Rate Padded Envelope that measures 12 1/2" x 9 1/2". If you use this specific USPS-provided envelope, the price is a flat rate regardless of weight (up to 70 lbs) or destination. The current retail price for this service is $12.85 at the Post Office.

    • Ground Advantage/Priority Mail (Weight & Zone): If you use your own 8 1/2" x 11" padded envelope and it's thicker than 3/4" (making it a package/parcel) or you prefer a specific service, the price depends entirely on its exact weight, destination ZIP code, and the service selected. International Shipping:

We ship worldwide! International delivery times vary significantly (2-4 weeks typically). Costs are calculated at checkout. Please note: You are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes your country may impose. 

Tracking & Notifications:

You'll receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Please allow 24 hours for tracking to update.

Lost or Damaged Packages:

If your package arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, contact us at mountainmaidenmade@gmail.com within 7 days with photos. We'll work with you and the carrier to find a solution. 

Handmade Note:

As items are handmade, slight variations are normal and part of their unique charm. We use robust packaging to ensure safe arrival but cannot guarantee against carrier mishandling. Please be aware of the one-of-a-kind, handmade nature of our products before purchasing. Thank you!
